North Shore Chicago Interior designer in own home
Tina Dann-Fenwick, ASID Allied

Designer Profile

Tina Dann-Fenwick, an interior designer who specializes in residential projects, is based in Lake Forest, IL. Following a successful career as a corporate attorney, Tina followed her passion and learned the art of interior design, starting her own business in 2007. She has a degree in Interior Design from Harper College, is an Allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and was recognized by the trade as a Top Ten Designer in 2011.

Tina combines a highly professional and detail-orientated approach to offer her clients both vision and commitment to reaching their goals

A native of England, she moved with her family in 1999 to live and work in the US.

Tina was recognized for her drawing ability at an early age. She became an accomplished oil painter, landscape designer, and ceramic artist prior to focusing on interior design.

Tina’s innate artistic ability helps her to create a balanced composition through the skilled use of color, texture, pattern, shape, and scale.

She retains her European aesthetic and her frequent travels provide inspiration from other cultures and from nature. Tina has completed residential projects in Chicago and its north shore suburbs as well as in Indiana, Savannah, and San Diego.

Whether you need to choose a single paint color or wish to remodel your entire home, the sheer volume of design options available today can be overwhelming.

Tina uses her extensive resources, technical expertise, and ability to listen to help clients translate their wants and needs into a beautifully realized design. She achieves a unique, creative solution to each design dilemma and manages the process to a successful conclusion.

“From the beginning, my focus is on your needs, your lifestyle, and your taste.”

An award-winning designer who is renowned for creating sophisticated, timeless, and elegant spaces, Tina and her team strive not only for beauty, but also for comfort and practicality.

Influenced by her European roots and extensive travels, Tina—a former attorney with a passion for the arts—avoids a formulaic look in favor of a richly layered approach that comes from reading the language of your home. Her legal training ensures that every project will benefit from an ideal mix of “right and left brain” artistry and professionalism.

“Individuality … consists not in an attempt to be different from other people at the cost of comfort, but in the desire to be comfortable in one’s own way…”

~ The Decoration of Houses by Edith Wharton; Ogden Codman

  • Tina had excellent knowledge and attention to detail – she gave us advice on important things we had not even thought about. We very much enjoyed working with Tina and would highly recommend her.
